Does anyone know how I should account for my rental properties in my US filings? Is there a seperate form I need to be aware of? Or is it something that can be handled in the 1040?

Is the 8891 only used if you actually use a portion of your RSP from a given year? If the RSP remains untouched, I was under the impression that a 3520 was all that is required.

Nelsona, thanks for the quick reply. So to clarify, do I need the following forms for each of the six years that I want to backfile?
1040, TDF 90-22.1, 3520, 2555, 1116 (multiple forms)

And will I need each of these forms for future filings as well?

rental income

Nelsona,
If I do have a house in Canada that I rent out, what form do I need to file when completing my US taxes?

I am a dual citizen in Canada, and I am trying to complete a quiet disclosure for the past 6 years.

Required forms for backfiling US taxes from Canada

Sorry to be a repeat, but I'm hoping someone can tell me exactly what forms I need to file for my situation. I am a dual citizen living and working in Canada, and I have not backfiled any of my US taxes since I moved here 13 years ago. I have a TFSA, RSP, as well as a RESP for my daughter. I've been...
