tsanaha and Tacova, I have not heard anything from IRS regarding my ovdi. I submitted package and they received it. could you share your experience about the process?z do you assign an agent work on your case so you can call this person if you have questions?

The package was delivered to a different zip code (73301) in Austin although I used the following address as instructed by the ovdi FAQ. This seems weired. It seems IRS also has office at zip code 73301. I am wondering if this ...

did you include RRSP when you use the xsl to calculate the highest aggregated balance. I do not think RRSP should be included in this calculation as RRSP has been tax deferred by 8891.

when using MTM for taxation of mutual fund, is any dividend (which is reinvested in the fund and contribute to the value of MTM calculation) reported in schedule B?

1. did you fill the form "Foreign account or Asset Statement" for your RRSP account?

2. should the 12.5% or 25% ovdi penalty be included in the payment at submission of the whole package?

I live in US and have Canadian mutual fund account. Does Canadian mutual fund count as foreign trust? do I need to fill form 3520 when:

1. switch fund
2. close account (capital loss)
