approx. tax rate?

Living in Quebec, earning $120,000, contributing $14000 to RRSP with non working wife. Approximately, what should my taxable rate be on $106000? Thanks.

Capital loss write off question.

I am an American living and working in Canada. I am about to sell a commercial building in the U.S. and it's going to sell at a $20,000 loss. Can I write this loss off on my Canadian taxes and if so, how much per year?

Thanks for the reply. Am I correct in thinking that means later in the year is better?

Moving to Canada/ Time of year question

I'm a U.S. citizen and will be moving to Canada to establish permanent residency. From a tax, rrsp or immigration point of view, is there a certain time of the year that is most beneficial to make the move?

primary residence tax deductions?

I've researched this but I seem to find conflicting info. In Canada and Quebec, can you deduct your property/school taxes and mortgage interest of your primary residence from your taxable income?

Bona fide residence test regarding spouse

During the first year while establishing bona fide residence in Canada, does your non-working spouse need to also be present in Canada for 330 days? Can she be claimed as a dependent if she does not meet the minimum days?
