540NR domicile? residence?
Hi experts,
I am a Canadian working in California under a J1 visa since September 2008. Being a non-resident by definition under my J1 I wonder why thy are asking me if I am resident in the 540NR form. In the same form it is also asked for the domicile. What should I enter?
