Just checked my account again, it the RRSP is now gone from my account.

I just checked on-line still showed the account with $0.00 balanced, I called and they have closed it as of today. Because it was still open in 2009 with 0.00 is it nessasary to report 0.00 8891 for 2009 with 0.00 balance?.

I have been reporting my RRSP to the IRS since 2003. Last year I withdrew every penny from my RRSP, I report the distribution on 8891 on line 7a and the taxable amount on line 7b and line 8 was $0.00. Ok here’s the stupid question that I can’t seem to find the answer too. Since line 8 is now at ...
