Any ideas as to why the IRS doesn't want you to fill in line 9 (Contributions to plan during the year) when you choose to defer (i.e. only required to answer lines 1 through 8)? You'd think they would like to know what your annual (tax free) contributions are to the RRSP. So that when it comes time ...
