My parents stayed with me for exact 6 months in 2010 on visit visa. I totally supported them during their stay in USA. Can i claim them as dependant ? I did not get any notary while they were in the US. but i can get their entry/exit stamping on their passports. is this enough? if yes then how do I ...

Thanks Nelson. I really appreciate your help. I actually received 1099-MISC from the company, so I guess I need to declare that as Self Employment Income. First Tax return after GC how to get stimulus money

I filed the extension in april just to wait and get the SSN for my dependents so I can claim the stimulus money.

Now I get that and using the turbo tax to file my return.

Just wanted to make sure that I did claim this money, what column number should I see that I did claim this money?

I am living in USA on a Green Card status.

Have a client in Canada, who sends me payments at least twice a year.

What is the best way to get that money in order pay Lowest possible tax.

as an independent contractor'? or should I register a company?

so, if the gift money is below $100,000 there is even no declaration required that you got this money from which source?

Should I also need to get a letter from the person says that he sent me this money as gift/loan return?

Why there is a condition for the American Citizens' company?
