My parents stayed with me for exact 6 months in 2010 on visit visa. I totally supported them during their stay in USA. Can i claim them as dependant ? Thanks Nelson. I really appreciate your help. I actually received 1099-MISC from the company, so I guess I need to declare that as Self Employment Income. First Tax return after GC how to get stimulus money
I filed the extension in april just to wait and get the SSN for my dependents so I can claim the stimulus money.
Now I get that and using the turbo tax to file my return.
Just wanted to make sure that I did claim this money, what column number should I see that I did claim this money?

Have a client in Canada, who sends me payments at least twice a year.
What is the best way to get that money in order pay Lowest possible tax.
