I don't know about the H1B -> TN issue. But that is true that the TN officers don't grant TN's 2 weeks in advance. One week is kinda cutting it close as well. I'm going for my TN soon, and what I will be doing is getting it as close to the date as possible. Perhaps only a couple of days in advance

Hi all, This is a general question... My theory is that the number of CSA TN's has peaked in 2000. And with the declining strength of the US dollar, there have been less people that have used the TN's. Can anyone back up this theory? Maintaining a Canadian residency as a requirement for TN

Hi all, I have been working abroad and haven't been back in Canada for some time. I've heard apparently you need to maintain ties to Canada to get a TN. What would constitute ties? I'm assuming financial things, hence I'm posting in this forum. Can someone give me an idea of the things they look for...
