I was on a TN visa from 2006 to 2008. I moved back to Canada at the end of 2008 after a laid off. I received after that UI from WA state all 2009 and in 2010 until July. You don't attach T3/T5. Look on the first page of the form 1040:
"Attach forms W-2, 1042-S, SSA-1042S, RRB-1042S and 8288-A here. Also attach form(s) 1099-R if tax was withheld"

Hi, I moved back in Canada at the end of 2008. I filled for 2008 a 1040 and Canada and Quebec taxs reports for the 2 weeks I was back. For 2009, I didn't found a job than I received all year US unemployement insurance and I'm still receiving it with all the extension. I was thinking to fill a 1040NR...

Unemployement Insurance

Hi,

I was on a TN visa and I was layoff. Now, I'm back in Canada but I can have US unemployement from WA state...Do I will need to fill a US tax report for 2009 if I receive unemployement this year? I will put everything I receive on my Canada and Quebec tax report for 2009.

Hi,

I have a checking/saving account in the US with around $50k in it. I'm moving back to Canada soon (December 2008). How is the best way to process with it?

If I transfer it all in a Canadian bank account, what will be the impact for tax purposes?

Or at a post office or Caisse Desjardins when it's tax time...

But you're software should do it, no? Because when you do a Quebec tax report, it's a different Canada tax report (a credit for Quebec tax). :?
