My Priority Date became current early December, at which time my old I-94 had lapsed, and because of the 4-week goof-up I mentioned earlier, we didn't have a Notice of Receipt either.
Should've, could've, nothing much I can do really, particularly as the attorneys are calling ...

Birth certificate for I-485: real or memorex?
Do I have to give DHS my "original" birth certificate, or will they accept a photocopy?
The certificate itself is a notarized copy of the original (which was lost before I even moved to Canada); I paid the UK company that now handles Central Records for this, so am loathe to lose it.

Seems like Vermont has come to a complete stop - currently, they're quoting July '06 as "latest processing date" :evil:
