NR4 and 1040-16a

We collapsed a couple of accounts last year. The income amount on NR4’s exclude brokerage fees. What should be reported on line 16a, income as per NR4 or amount that was in the RRSP before closing it?

IRS: Minimum interest?

Last year I accrued about $7 in interest in my Canadian Bank account. 10% NR tax was withheld on 12 monthly payments. Does the IRS allow some minimal amount of interest to go unreported? I’m assuming1116 is not mandatory. I’m getting lazy.

How about the legal fees for a Labor Certification? Would that be deductible?
