I kind of been skimming this topic, but not really paying attention as I don't meet the 8938 thresholds. With the elimination of form 8891, it appears that I do not repport my RRSP at all anymore (except for the FBAR part). Is this the case?

Do you claim the entire amount on 1040, or just it's growth since leaving Canada (like you do for an RRSP) ?

You'll need to be married her to get a TD. As for her influencing your Canada tax situation, yes, as long as she was in Canada - you have not really "left" yet. However, Canada/US do have tax treaties in place, so you "won't" be double taxed for the 3 months. As for having rental...
