Hi again;

Searched harder and found that maybe I can be a "dual status alien".

Is using form 2555 and using 1040X the answer?

I should add that I will likely return to US in Aug 2006. Plan is to be at least 1 full year in HK. I am subject to HK taxes, and have HK ID card and Hk bank account ...
