Anyone know where to find line 42900 on the return?
In regards to form T2209
Part “d” wants “Basic federal tax”. Instructions say this number can be found on “line 42900 of your return”

If you were living in the us from 2015 to 2016 I believe using the “substantial presence test” you should have been filing out the 1040 form not the 1040nr. nelsona, do you agree? Even if the CRA cut the BPA in half it would 6000$ x .15 = 900$ in Total Non-refundable tac credit. But they dropped it to 786. ??
