I am planning to apply for Canadian PR. I am currently in California on an H-1B Visa. Can you tell me how long it takes to obtain Canadian PR?

Hey guys.
I got my Canadian PR back in 2002. I live and work in the US at present. But I would like to settle down in Canada now. Do you think there will be any obstacles in doing that? If so how can I overcome them?
