CdnAmerican, did you end up filling out form 1041 or did you invent a new reference number as described by DrJFM? I'm in the same boat as you now where I filed for an EIN for my TFSA as I thought that was a requirement to fill out the 3520 and 3520a. I wish I understood that I could have just used a...
