Re: SS and Medicare Tax W/Held and Foreign Tax Credit

One more question re: my question(s) above. If city US city tax can be included as "foreign tax paid", can I also claim State and City taxes owing for 2020 as foreign tax paid also?

Thanks again for anybody's input / info..

Just found out my son's Ontario Tuition Credits are 0???

So my son is in graduate studies and he had approximately $16K in Ontario credits in 2019. I looked at his carryover amounts and for federal, he has an amount for 2020 (identical to 2019) but for provincial, it only shows (CRA website) that his 2019 start (from 2018) was $16K but under the "Amo...

Question re: HSA's and a couple of other questions..

Good afternoon everyone. I have a question about HSA's. I am a commuter and I work for a US employer and I pay into a HSA to supplement out of pocket medical expenses. My question is when I use that pre-tax money to offset dental expenses, etc that are over and above the coverage provided by my empl...

Still have not received my US Fed Refund

Good day all. I did a search and could not find this topic thus the post. I did my 1040-NR and mailed it out approximately June 9 this year and I still do not have any clue the status of my refund check (I also filed for my State return and received a check in July). It was a paper return (from my u...
