I have US income and my wife has cdn income and we both live in Vancouver, Canada.

Should we calculate both MFJ (1040 ) and MFS (1040) and then the T1's for both of us and then see what makes us pay less tax or is there a better way here

Thanks

EI Benefits in canada

I have been commuting to work in WA state from BC for last 3 years. Now my H-b visa is expiring and I will no longer be able to work in US anymore for a year. Can I get EI benefits for this income earned in US in canada.
