I am a US resident and I'm filing my Canadian T1 tax return with section 217.
I withdrew from my RRSP last year and am seeking less withholding (have file NR5 for a lower withholding rate).
The software knows I am a non-resident of Canada but is asking that CRA Form T1135 be filled out.
My understanding is that T1135 applies to Residents of Canada only?

take it up with turbotax.
Ufile doesn't give that problems.
But, no, T1135 is not required for NRs.
So you previously filed a departure return, in 2013 or earlier?

But I wouldn't let it slow you down. You won't be netfiling, so simply send them the paper return that is produced minus the T1135.
