Question about trip back to Canada -- Declaration Form

Post by ikeaidea »

Hi, I not sure whether this question is applicable here... Thanks in advance for your answer!

US resident with Canadian Citizenship, non tax resident of Canada for many years. Will have a shot trip to Canada. When fly back to Canada, how to fill out the declaration form, part B (visitor ) or part C (resident)?

Many thanks!

You will fill out both forms (the one for canada when you enter canada, and the one for US when you enter US) as a US RESIDENT, which is what you are.
nelsona non grata. Non pro. Please Search previous posts, no situation is unique as you might think. Happy Browsing :D

You don't live in Canada! Millions of Cdn citizens don';t live in Canada. When/If they go back -- they visit.
