| Lately, I read this Article. I am not sure if I need to something about it or not. I moved to US about 10 years ago, and we have rental property in Canada, so every year we file non-resident tax in Canada for pass 10 years but we also have RRSP in Canada. and we just park there without any transactions. per this article, do we need to do anything or not ? |

For Canada, nothing more.
However, for US, you need to be reporting the rental income of course.
And your need to be reporting the existence of RRSP on form 8891 or face serious penalties. _________________ nelsona non grata... and non pro |
