Book on tax issues for US/dual citizens living in Canada?

Post by 416 »

Can someone recommend a book useful for (for want of a better term) financially normal - house, job, RRSP, RESP - middle-to-upper-middle-income people living in Canada who find themselves faced with having to file a US tax return?

I realize that an issue like the US tax status of a Canadian RESP must be an arcane question when it's first decided, but it's not going to be an arcane question over and over again - there has to be a templated answer..

Keats has the "Border Guide'.which is primarily for Cdns moving to US.
Wruk does have a book on Americans in canada.

The problem is the IRS keeps changing their opinion on things, and the treaty went thru an upgrade in the past 3 years,

I guess there is an opportunity....
