Filing US taxes for past years when not taxes were filed?

Filing US taxes for past years when not taxes were filed?

I am a dual citizen who stoped filling US taxes several years ago but think tha I should now start again. What is involved in filling for all the lapsed years? I have us tax programs and calculate that my taxes due each yuear are zero. But I have not filed and election forms like 8891 or 8833.

Just file returns for the last 3 years as usual including 8891/TDF forms.
