Much as I dislike the idea of dealing with tax returns for yet another country, it's probably beneficial to pay the UK taxes on the pensions and clain credits in both the US and Canada.

Thanks nelsona for the prompt response. Yes, i'd forgotten about US Social Security being taxed in Canada rather thn the US. Why no taxation in the UK? Another of those tax treaties I guess.
